In 1994, when our Managing Director and founder Michael Seleska established Castlekeep. A company created to provide essential services to the shipping industry up and down the River Thames and across the South East of England. A venture representing the culmination of a thirty-five year career in the maritime sector. That’s a long time!
It’s in our blood!
Introduced to shipping in the ‘60s, Michael developed a broad understanding and knowledge of the industry working with his uncles in the family business. A company Castlekeep could be described as the modern day equivalent of, providing a number of very similar services to an entirely revolutionised industry. This personal introduction to the sector formed the basis of Michael’s career and the foundations on which Castlekeep was built.

And so began Castlekeep’s journey guided by its founding principle, to provide a professional and responsible service to its clients, continuing our founders family tradition, evolving in a way that preserves and honours the legacy of his relatives and in a way we can be proud of.
